TINIGEP
TINIGEP, a brand of tinidazole, is an antibiotic that is used to treat certain types of vaginal infections (bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis). It is also used to treat certain types of parasite infections (giardiasis, amebiasis). It works by stopping the growth of certain bacteria and parasites.
It kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging their DNA.
Composition
Each film coated tablet of TINIGEP contains:
Tinidazole BP ………………………… 500 mg
Indications:
TINIGEP is indicated for treatment of bacterial infections and parasitic infections. It is used in infections of the brain, reproductive system, gastrointestinal tract, skin, vagina, and other areas of the body.
